The conference dinner takes place 23rd floor of the Emporio Tower, offering spectacular 360deg views of the city of Hamburg.

The Emporio Tower is a short walking distance from the conference venue (see map). Persons with limited mobility please contact the conference organizers.

Please bring your badge as this will serve as entrance ticket.

The evening will start with a welcome cocktail, followed by a first and second course served at the table. Please indicate meat or veggie preferences upon registration. A welcome address from the XFEL directorate, the invitation to FEL2021 and the announcement of the 2023 location will be given from the stage in the bar area, followed by one of the highlights of the evening - the announcement of the 2019 FEL Prize and Young Investigator Prize Winners. The winners and everybody else will be celebrated over a desert buffet with live music and more drinks from the bar.
